OVC is Accepting FY 2025 Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside Program Population Certification Forms

Shared on behalf of the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) Tribal Division

The Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) is pleased to announce that they are currently accepting Population Certification Forms for the FY 2025 Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside Program (TVSSA) from federally recognized Tribes, Tribal consortia, and organizations acting as the authorized designees of federally recognized Tribes.
Submitting a Population Certification Form is the first step of a two-step TVSSA application process. OVC will use a population-based formula to develop funding allocations for each eligible applicant who submits a form. If Congress authorizes a Tribal Set-aside for FY 2025, OVC will invite all eligible applicants who submitted a Population Certification form to submit a full application for funding in the Spring of 2025. Please submit your form online by no later than January 17, 2024, 11:59pm, Alaska Time.

OVC also invites you to join staff from OVC’s Tribal Division for a pre-application webinar on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 2pm-3pm, eastern time to learn more about the TVSSA application process and hear guidance on how to complete the form. Please register for the webinar by 1pm, eastern time on November 12, 2024 to participate.

If you have questions about the TVSSA application process, please contact OVC’s Tribal Division at OVCTribalSetAside@usdoj.gov.
